About Bachelor of Technology
สาขา Computer Systems Network Security Administration Option
The Bachelor of Technology in Computer Systems (CST BTech) is an applied career-enhancement degree, designed to increase the breadth and depth of knowledge and practical skills of computer professionals; assisting them in widening their career opportunities and advancing along their career paths. Graduates are awarded a credential that is highly valued by the industry.
The CST BTech full-time program is a two-year degree completion program for students who have graduated from a two-year diploma in computing such as the BCIT Computer Systems Technology (CST) or Computer Information Technology (CIT) program. Students who have completed other computing diploma or degree programs at an accredited college or university, whether locally or internationally, may be admitted into the program by completing pre-entry assessment and a few bridging courses.
The Network Security Administration Option is designed to prepare graduates to plan, manage and secure network infrastructures in business environments. The program includes knowledge and skill development in business communications and leadership, as well as the essential technical knowledge components.
Program Length
Two years, full-time
Students have up to seven years to complete this program starting from the date of their first technical degree-level course or the date of acceptance to the bachelor program, whichever comes first. Management electives older than five years from the date of acceptance cannot be used toward the degree.

Will be offered in Level 6.

Applied Research Methods in Software Development
Selected Topics in Computer Systems*

General Education Elective (3.0 credits):
Will be offered in Level 7.

General Education Component (18.0 credits)
All students will be required to complete the following:
Liberal Studies (6.0 credits) - to be completed in Level 5 and 6
Management Electives (6.0 credits) - to be completed in Level 5 and 6
General Education Electives (6.0 credits) - to be completed in Level 7 and 8
Admission Requirements:
English: one of the following
- ISEP Level 6 – 60% in each course
- IELTS 6.5
- TOEFL 86
Post-secondary education: one of the following:
- BCIT Computer Information Technology (CIT) Diploma or
- BCIT Computer Systems Technology (CST) Diploma or
- Equivalent of CST Diploma and a minimum of 3 months relevant work experience. These applicants must apply with a completed department assessment
