Notes:
1. Students who take ACCT 1235 instead of ACCT 1110 and ACCT 1210 must take another 1000-4000 elective from the Commerce and Business Administration faculty. 1000-2000 level courses must be university transferable (courses that transfer to one of the 5 Research Universities - SFU, UBC, UBCO, UNBC or UVIC) according to the BC Transfer Guide,
2. BUSN 2429 and FINC 1231 are highly recommended.
3. This course constitutes a 3000-4000 required Accounting elective. Students who have taken BUSN 3730 prior to the Winter 2016 semester will be able to use it in place of ACCT 4850.
4. A minimum of 45 credit hours must be upper level courses, e.g. at the 3000 or 4000 level. Please keep this in mind when choosing your electives. The 45 hours includes both required courses and electives.
5. There is a significant amount of work required to successfully complete BUSN 4500. Students are strongly encouraged to commence work on this course at an early date.

- LPI - minimum essay score 4
- TOEFL iBT - minimum score 83
- IELTS - minimum overall band test score 6.5 (academic module only)
- EIKEN Practical English - minimum placement of Grade 1
- CAEL - minimum overall and essay score of 60
- Cambridge English CAE- minimum score 75 or "B"
- Cambridge English CPE - minimum score 60 or "C"
- Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Level 8 in each of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic - minimum score of 56
