About ​Cosmetology Diploma


​Students who successfully complete both the full-time Hairstylist program and full-time Skin & Body Therapy program are eligible to receive a Cosmetology Diploma.

VCC is the only public institution in Metro Vancouver offering cosmetology programs.

Courses:


​The Cosmetology Diploma will be awarded to students who successfully complete both Hairstylist Certificate and Skin & Body Therapy Certificate. International students may start in Hairstylist Certificate or Skin & Body Therapy Certificate, depending on seat availability.

Admission Requirements:


Grade 10 completion and 18 years of age, or high school graduation

English proficiency requirement:
  • English 10 with a C or higher, or
  • IELTS 4.5 (no band less than 4.0), or
  • TOEFL 54, or
  • Canadian Language Benchmark Placement Test: Listening 7, Speaking 6, Reading 6, Writing 4
